What We Do
We are a student-led finance organization founded at UIC to help students learn about and access opportunities in finance and broader business areas. We hold weekly events, including recruiting events, industry-focused events, networking nights, socials, and volunteering events.

Recruiting
At FIG, we actively create opportunities for members to find work through internships and full-time roles. We bring recruiters from top firms to the semester to help us prepare for the recruiting season by teaching us about timelines, roles, and advice for the application.
Volunteering
A cornerstone of FIG is community involvement, which we pursue through volunteer events open to anyone who wants to help. These events are advertised on our GroupMe and social media.

Panels
Another important part of FIG is our panel events, where we bring in professionals from a given industry or firm to gain insights into their career paths and provide advice for students interested in working in a given industry or firm.
Networking Night
Networking Night is our biggest event each semester. For this event, we bring back previous speakers, alumni, and other professionals so that students may network with a diverse range of professionals across industries. From Wealth Management, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Asset Management, and so much more.

Socials
At FIG, we are not just a professional student organization; we aim to create an environment where students from many backgrounds can come to make friends, learn about each other beyond a Finance lens, and build bonds that will outlast college.
